I’ve hit a huge milestone, my 300th instrument! This was an occasion to count up exactly what I’ve made. 299: 14 1/4 inch (36.2cm) mini viola
This viola is a commission from the Barratt Due conservatoire in Oslo. The staff of Barratt Due have strong links with Chetham’s School of Music in Manchester and have come across several of my small violas there, so decided that they would like one too. These small violas have been a regular feature of my work for many years now.
